Today was an uneventful day. Bogota is preparing for the presidential election, so there is more security in the streets. There are armed soldiers walking around with automatic weapons, but other than that, everything is normal.
Today, Cristian had another English lesson and immediately did his homework after that. Then we went to Unicentro, a mall in Bogota. We bought some movies and a jacket, because he left his jackets at his old house. Then we did bowling, which was an interesting experience. We watched Colombia play Romania on television, had dinner and watched one of the movies.
Cristian had his first telephone conversation with a family member; he spoke with his aunt Robyn for a little bit. We ambushed her, so she did not have any questions ready in Spanish. However, she says she will be better prepared next time. Tomorrow is Sunday so we will go to church here and maybe play some soccer in the park.
Hasta luego.
