Reps. Joe Barton and Kay Granger, good Metroplex Republicans, have apparently forgotten that conservatives favor free enterprise and oppose corporate subsidies and government regulation. Still, they support the Wright Amendment, a Democratic law passed to protect the DFW airport and keep successful businesses like Southwest Airlines from competing more effectively with money-losing, bad service airlines like American Airlines.
Please encourage your representatives to support the repeal of the Wright amendment.
